Letter From Recruitment Chair
My name is Madi Massey, and I am the Phi Mu Recruitment Chair here at Georgia College and State University!
I want to encourage anyone eligible to sign up and participate in recruitment this August for the Fall 2017 semester. The transition into college can be a very life changing and emotional time in your life. One of the best ways to adjust to your new environment is to become involved on campus as much as possible. Being involved will help you adjust, grow and enhance your overall quality of life and maximize your wonderful college experience. One way to benefit and be involved is to join a sorority.
Phi Mu is a wonderful opportunity for young women to be able to make a positive impact on the surrounding community, achieve academic excellence, as well as develop life long friendships. Phi Mu is the place that I call my “home away from home”. Here I have found leadership opportunities, encouragement, a sense of sisterhood as well as being appreciated for all of my successes thus far in my college career. Phi Mu has given me many opportunities, over 200 lifelong friends as well as an abundance of experiences that have created me to be the person I am today. I can confidently say that my college experience wouldn’t be the same had I not decided to join a sorority my freshman year and I owe all of that to this incredible organization. I know that it is capable of offering the same to many more young women in the future, perhaps even you!
You can take a look at the website to learn more about Phi Mu at Georgia College and see what we are all about! You are more than welcome to email me if you have any further questions at Madison.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope to see you soon! Go Bobcats!
