Letter From Recruitment Chair

Hey guys!!

My name is Caroline Miller and I am Phi Mu’s recruitment chair here at Georgia College. If you haven’t already, I would love to encourage you to sign up and participate in this upcoming recruitment in the fall. The transition into college can be a very emotional and sometimes overwhelming time, but one of the best ways to adjust to all these life changes is to become involved on campus as much as possible. My biggest piece of advice while going through the recruitment process, as cliche as it sounds, would be to just be yourself— seriously!

As someone who grew up as an only child, I have always wanted siblings and that sisterly bond. Joining Phi Mu has given me that and so much more. We host and team up with GC Miracle for many events each year to support and raise money for our philanthropy, Children’s Miracle Network, but a couple of our favorites are the FTKolor Run and Dance Marathon. We are also incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to directly make an impact on the children with our monthly visits to the hospital in Macon!

Phi Mu is an amazing opportunity for young women to be able to make a positive impact on the surrounding community, achieve academic excellence, as well as develop lifelong friendships. Phi Mu is full of unique, beautiful and intelligent individuals who strive to bring each other up and make each other better. Here I have found leadership opportunities, encouragement, endless love and laughter as well as an everlasting sense of sisterhood. I have gained over 200 wonderful friends as well as an abundance of experiences that have created me to be the person I am today. I can say with complete and utter confidence that my college experience wouldn’t be the same had I not decided to join a sorority my freshman year, and I owe all of that to this incredible organization.

We are all so excited to meet you in August and welcome you to the Georgia College family. Have a great summer and DON’T STRESS! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Panhellenic at gcpanhellinic@gmail.com.

Hope to see you soon, and Go Bobcats!!
