Chapter Philanthropy

We are fortunate enough to have a national philanthropy as wonderful as Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Our chapter is even more fortunate to have a Children's Hospital only 40 minutes away from campus. Once every other week, Gamma Sigma sends 5 girls to the Children's Hospital in Macon to spend time with the kids doing different crafts that have included, making super hero masks, foam door hangers, or anything else that can brighten their day. All of the fundraising that Gamma Sigma collects goes straight to the Children's Hospital in Macon. It is incredible to see where our money goes, especially when we get to see the kids whose lives are changed from it. Throughout the semester, we have Spirit Nights at local restaurants in Milledgeville for example, Chick-Fil-A, Zaxbys, Gringos, and Stacked. We host an annual Dodgeball Tournament, Lip Syncing competition and have recently added a flag football tournament that is co-hosted with Peach State Pride.  We also have full chapter support each year at Dance Marathon where last year, Phi Mu personally raised $36,440.77 contributing to the overall total of $222,492.56. Our goal for this year is even bigger!
